QS GLOBAL RANKING: General MBA among the best in the world
QS Global MBA 2024* QS World University Rankings** on October 4, 2023 published a ranking of the best MBA programs, in which AlmaU Graduate School of Business is the only business school from Kazakhstan for the fifth consecutive year.
The General MBA program was ranked in the top 300 in the world and top 50 in Asia, maintaining its global status as the best business school in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, ranking among the top 70% of programs in the world.
Out of 318 accredited MBA programs from around the world included in the MBA 2024 Global MBA Rankings, AlmaU Graduate School of Business received a ranking of 251+ overall with a score of 30.9 out of 100 points, and ranked 45th out of 50 global MBA programs in Asia. The program received the highest score on Diversity (52.3) and came closest to the average level among the participants on Entrepreneurship and Alumni Results, which indicates the positive dynamics of the General MBA student population according to international standards of business education.
The QS Global MBA rankings highlight the best MBA programs around the world. Its methodology aims to identify programs that have strong industry links, high career returns and offer strong price-performance ratio.
Key ranking metrics are: employability, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, return on investment, thought leadership and diversity of classes and faculties:
- • 40% employability. A measure of employability based on responses from tens of thousands of global employers over the past five years and the employment rates of recent graduates. Employers from every conceivable sector and industry participated in the survey.
- • 20% – Entrepreneurship and graduate outcomes. The initiative of recent graduates to launch their own companies and the impact, and success of graduates from this business school.
- • 15% – return on investment. A measure of the average return on investment for specific business schools based on factors such as tuition levels, opportunity costs, salary growth, and expected career growth.
- 15% – Thought Leadership. Academic reputation based on votes from 200,000 academics in 60 countries.
- 10% – Diversity. Diversity in terms of gender and international composition for both students and faculty at the school.
