AMBA & BGA The Graduate School of Business Almaty Management University (International Academy of Business at the time) received the prestigious global AMBA accreditation in 2013 for the first time for a period of 3 years. In 2016, the School passed its first re-accreditation, awarded for 5 years. In the summer of 2021, GSB AlmaU was successfully re-accredited with a joint AMBA & BGA accreditation for a maximum period of 5 years, confirming the quality and compliance of MBA programs with international standards. Today, AMBA accreditation is granted to the programs of the top 2% among business schools in more than 75 countries of the world, these are 285 business schools, including business schools of CIS countries: 14 Russian, 2 Ukrainian and one from Kazakhstan (AlmaU). AMBA accreditation guarantees worldwide recognition of diplomas for graduates of MBA and EMBA programs.
