Cooperation with foreign higher institutions, organizations and associations is one of the strategic directions of Almaty Management University.
The aim of internationalization is to enhance AlmaU’s reputation in the international arena as a leader in higher education by integrating projects, curricula, academic staff, administrative staff and students into the global learning community.
A network of international partners plays an primordial role in the development of international cooperation, as well as in the integration of AlmaU into the global educational and scientific environment AlmaU maintains stable partnerships with many foreign universities and international associations in Europe, Asia, America and the CIS.
AlmaU has an extensive network of international partners from more than 130 universities in 35 countries. AlmaU is also a member of more than 25 local and international associations and organizations.
AlmaU – Cintana Alliance
Университет штата Аризона (англ. Arizona State University – ASU) cовместно с партнером по международному развитию – Cintana Education – работают над созданием альянса Cintana. Альянс Cintana — это глобальная сеть инновационных и перспективных университетов, работающих вместе во имя лучшего высшего образования для каждого своего студента.
Аффилированные с Cintana Alliance университеты прошли тщательный отбор и теперь имеют возможность использовать подпись “Powered by ASU”, обладают доступом к образовательным программам направленных на получение ученой степени, студенты получают возможность учиться в ASU в Темпе, зачисляться на онлайн-курсы ASU, становятся доступны программы международного обмена для студентов и преподавателей, а также возможности для сотрудничества в области исследований.
С целью расширения академических программ вуза, удовлетворения быстрорастущего спроса на высшее образование в Казахстане и Центральной Азии AlmaU присоединился к альянсу Cintana Education (США), что позволит студентам получать дополнительные преимущества от сотрудничества с самыми инновационными учебными заведениями мира. Студенты AlmaU не только получат доступ к передовой учебной программе и практике обучения, но и будут иметь возможность получить диплом от ведущего партнера Альянса, Arizona State University. Среди более чем 100 казахстанских вузов AlmaU был выбран для присоединения к Cintana Education, глобальной сети университетов, работающих вместе над созданием и масштабированием высококачественных академических программ, отвечающих потребностям экономики своих стран. Благодаря членству AlmaU в Cintana Education, преподаватели и студенты AlmaU будет иметь доступ к Репозиторию (крупнейшей в мире онлайн-платформе с обучающими материалами) Arizona State University и его опыту в области цифрового обучения, опыту создания исследовательских программ мирового уровня. AlmaU работает с командой экспертов Cintana Education, которые имеют многолетний опыт создания и развития университетов по всему миру. Сотрудничество между Arizona State University и AlmaU будет способствовать укреплению отечественного высшего образования и продвижению бренда Казахстана в международной научной и академической среде.

GARP
GARP (Global Association of Risk Professiоnals), Глобальная ассоциация профессионалов в риск-менеджменте – некоммерческая структура, главной целью которой является поддержка образовательных программ в сфере риск-менеджмента и поиск решений проблем, которые возникают в финансовой индустрии с ее развитием и появлением новых рисков.
В 2019 году, программа МВА Высшей Школы Бизнеса AlmaU “Финансовый инжиниринг” получила аккредитацию GARP. Слушатели программы ВШБ AlmaU смогут во время обучения сдать международный экзамен по риск-менеджменту в области финансов (FRM). Сертификация (FRM) признается на международном уровне как стандарт магистерской степени в США, Сингапуре, Индии и т.д. ВШБ – первый и пока единственный академический партнер GARP в Казахстане. С получением данной аккредитации AlmaU задал новую планку для развития рынка бизнес-образования в странах СНГ.

AACSB
В марте 2014 Высшая Школа Бизнеса Almaty Management University (тогда еще Международная Академия Бизнеса) стала членом AACSB – Ассоциации по развитию университетских бизнес-школ (англ. Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). На сегодняшний день в состав ассоциации входят более 1700 организаций, среди которых более 900 аккредитованных бизнес-школ из более чем 100 стран.
AACSB International является членской ассоциацией образовательных учреждений, бизнеса, НПО и государственных организаций, занимающихся развитием высшего бизнес-образования.

EFMD
EFMD (Европейский фонд развития менеджмента) – это глобальная некоммерческая организация, основанная на членстве и занимающаяся развитием менеджмента. Он признан во всем мире в качестве органа по аккредитации бизнес-школ, программ бизнес-школ и корпоративных университетов.
EFMD включает в себя более 972 организаций-членов из научных кругов, бизнес-структур, государственного сектора и консалтинговых агентств в 90 странах.
Almaty Management University (тогда еще Международная Академия Бизнеса) является членом EFMD с 1993 года.

UN PRME
Принципы ответственного управленческого образования (PRME) – это инициатива, основанная в 2007 году при поддержке Организации Объединенных Наций. Работая на основе шести принципов, PRME привлекает бизнес-школы и школы менеджмента для обеспечения будущих лидеров навыками, необходимыми для достижения баланса между экономическими целями и целями устойчивого развития (ЦУР) и приводя академические учреждения в соответствие с работой Глобального договора ООН. В качестве добровольной инициативы, подписанной более чем 800 организациями образования по всему миру, PRME стала крупнейшим связующим звеном между Организацией Объединенных Наций и высшими учебными заведениями, специализирующимися на управленческом образовании.
AlmaU как социально ответственный университет является подписантом инициативы PRME с 2009 года. Отчеты о проделанной работе доступны здесь. Президент и основатель AlmaU Асылбек Кожахметов является членом Совета PRME с 2020 года.
05 октября 2021 года новое подразделение UN PRME в Евразийском регионе (UN PRME Chapter Eurasia) было официально представлено во время проведения форума UN PRME Global Chapter Forum. Миссия UN PRME Chapter Eurasia состоит в том, чтобы вовлечь новых членов региона в сеть PRME, обеспечить интеграцию принципов ответственного управленческого образования в академическую и исследовательскую деятельность в университетах региона, а также способствовать развитию взаимного сотрудничества между участниками-подписантами.

CEEMAN
CEEMAN – Международная ассоциация развития менеджмента в динамично развивающихся обществах, объединяющая более 200 институциональных и индивидуальных членов из более чем 50 стран Европы, Северной Америки, Латиснкой Америки, Африки и Азии.
Almaty Management University (тогда еще Международная Академия Бизнеса) является членом CEEMAN с 2004 года, имеет институциональную аккредитацию International Quality Accreditaiton (IQA) CEEMAN с 2010 года по настоящее время. IQA – это знак качества, стандарт в бизнес-образовании, который подтверждает, что учреждение образования улучшает и поддерживает высокое качество управленческого образования.
В 2014, 2017 и 2021 годах сотрудники AlmaU были удостоены награды CEEMAN Champions Award.

AlmaU – Cintana Alliance
ASU and its international enablement partner, Cintana Education, are working together to build the Cintana Alliance The Cintana Alliance is a global network of innovative and forward-looking universities working together to bring the best of higher education to every one of their students.
Cintana Alliance affiliated universities have been carefully selected and now have the opportunity to be “Powered by ASU”, gaining access to coordinated degree programs where students can visit and study with ASU in Tempe, the ability to enroll their students directly in ASU online courses, international exchange programs for students and faculty, and research collaboration opportunities.
Almaty Management University (AlmaU) initiated the expansion of the institution’s academic programs in order to serve the fast-growing demand for postsecondary education across Kazakhstan and Central Asia. As part of the initiative, the university has joined the Cintana Alliance, enabling its students to benefit from collaboration with some of the world’s most innovative institutions. In addition to benefitting from cutting-edge curriculum and learning practices, AlmaU students will have the opportunity to earn a degree from the Alliance’ flagship partner, Arizona State University. Among 100 institutions in the country, AlmaU was selected to join the Cintana Alliance, a global network of ambitious universities working together to build and scale high-quality academic programs that respond to their country’s economic needs. As a member of the Cintana Alliance, AlmaU will have access to Arizona State’s online curriculum and expertise in digital learning earning, insights into how to build a world-class research program, and articulation agreements that enable students to earn an Arizona State credential or degree. AlmaU works with Cintana’s team of experts who have decades of experience in building and growing universities around the world. The collaboration between Arizona State and AlmaU is expected to strengthen domestic higher education and promote Kazakhstan’s brand in the international scientific and academic environment.

GARP
GARP (Global Association of Risk Professions) is a non-profit structure whose main goal is to support educational programs in the field of risk management and search for solutions to problems that arise in the financial industry with its development and emergence of new risks.
In 2019, Financial Engineering MBA program of Graduate School of Business obtained international accreditation in GARP. This allows students of this program to pass an international exam on risk management in finance (FRM) during their studies. Certification (FRM) is recognized internationally as master’s degree standard in the USA, Singapore, India, etc. GSB is the first and so far the only academic partner of GARP in Kazakhstan. With this accreditation, AlmaU set the high standards for development of the business education market in the CIS countries.

AACSB
In March 2014, the Graduate School of Business Almaty Management University (International Academy of Business at the time) became a member of the AACSB – Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. EFMD
EFMD is a global, non-profit, membership-driven organisation dedicated to management development. It is recognised globally as an accreditation body for business schools, business school programmes, and corporate universities.
EFMD includes more than 972 member organizations from academia, business structures, the public sector and consulting agencies in 90 countries.
Almaty Management University (then the International Academy of Business) has been a member of EFMD since 1993.

UN PRME
The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a United Nations-supported initiative founded in 2007. Working through Six Principles, PRME engages business and management schools to ensure they provide future leaders with the skills needed to balance economic and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligning academic institutions with the work of the UN Global Compact. As a voluntary initiative with over 800 signatories worldwide, PRME has become the largest organised relationship between the United Nations and management-related higher education institutions.
AlmaU as a socially responsible university has been a committed PRME signatory since 2009. Its progress reports are available here AlmaU President and Founder Dr. Assylbek Kozhakhmetov is the PRME Board member since 2020.
On October 5 the new Chapter Eurasia has been presented to the public during the UN PRME Global Chapter Forum UN PRME Global Chapter Forum. The mission of the Chapter Eurasia is to engage new members from the region to the PRME network, to ensure that the principles of responsible management education are integrated into academic and research activities in universities of the region, and to open international opportunities for the Chapter Signatories for meaningful knowledge sharing and networking.

CEEMAN
CEEMAN is an international management development association with the aim of accelerating the growth in quality of management development. Now it is a global network of management development institutions interested in quality of education and innovations in this field, as well as in the broad area of subjects related to change, with 200 members from 50 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
Almaty Management University (then the International Academy of Business) has been a member of CEEMAN since 2004, has the institutional accreditation of the International Quality Accreditaiton (IQA) CEEMAN since 2010 to the present day. IQA is a quality mark, a standard in business education, which confirms that an educational institution improves and maintains the high quality of management education.
In 2014, 2017 and 2021, representatives of AlmaU staff were awarded the CEEMAN Champions Award.
